What Zandra is.
Zandra is a restorative health company. Restorative means putting back what has run out, rather than quietening the thing you notice.
In practice that is food supplements and skincare, recommended by doctors and sold in pharmacies and online in Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Georgia, and online in India.
We also market prescription medicines, our own and in-licensed. They are not shown here, because advertising a prescription medicine to the public is not permitted in our markets.
Everything on this site is a food supplement or a cosmetic. We work out what a part of the body has run short of and supply it, in an amount printed on the pack and checkable against European law here.

Zandra separates two things most companies merge. A symptom is what the patient reports. A system is the mechanism underneath that stopped working. We work on the second, which is why our products are judged on whether the patient can eventually stop taking them.

Treatment raises it
Some skin treatments wear the barrier down faster than it rebuilds. Antibiotics clear the good flora along with what they were prescribed for.

Two labels. The same sentence.
A nutrient may be named on a carton once it reaches fifteen per cent of the European reference value. Below is the zinc in Alpha Biselen, and beside it the smallest quantity that would let another carton print the identical sentence.

Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal hair.
The claim is identical. Behind it two things differ and neither appears on either carton. There is nearly seven times more zinc on the left, and it is carried in a chelate that costs several times more per milligram of zinc than oxide does and that the absorption work places above oxide, by something closer to one and a half times than ten. We are not going to overstate the second difference. We would rather record the plain fact that zinc oxide is the cheapest permitted source of zinc in Europe, and that it is not the zinc in any capsule or tablet we make.
Every product page here prints what we use beside what the law would allow. This is the only comparison we make.
05 / The Standard
Four things we will not trade away.
The Standard is the short list of things that stay true when a product would be easier to sell without them. It is applied to every manufacturer and every formulation. Three of the four are not fully met today, and they are marked here rather than on a page nobody reads.

Manufacturing floor
Pharmaceutical orals at sites inspected against EU GMP, or against the equivalent standard of a PIC/S member authority. ISO 22716 for topicals. Supplement lines at facilities holding a GFSI-recognised scheme, FSSC 22000 or IFS Food, or United States 21 CFR 111 supplement GMP. Twelve of thirteen sites hold what this row requires. The outstanding site is Siddhāyu, where ISO 22716 is in progress.

Dosing
Dosed to European standards. We formulate to amounts EFSA has assessed for the nutrient, within its tolerable upper intake level where one exists. EFSA has not assessed our products, and where a published clinical dose is higher we say so rather than imply we have matched it. Four products have been audited against this row and reformulated. Twenty-two have not, which is why this row is marked partly met.

Transparency
No proprietary blends. Full quantitative composition on every oral, published beside the amount another company may include and still carry the identical claim. Full INCI on every topical, though not yet the concentration of each active. That is the part still open, and the current gap is the two Ukrainian cosmetic cartons that print supplier trade names in place of INCI.

Evidence
We state plainly what has and what has not been trialled, as a combination and at the dose we sell. Where a study behind an ingredient is sponsor-funded, unblinded or published somewhere weak, the product page says so under the figure rather than beside it. Where the only data is a cell model rather than a person, the page says that too and makes no absorption claim on it. Four ingredient dossiers have been read line by line this way.

These four rows are self-assessed by Zandra, and last reviewed in August 2026. They are not certifications and no third party has awarded them. Met means it holds across every product and every manufacturer today. Partly met means it does not yet, and the row says where the gap is.
